Hello!

Hi there! I’m Heather Gaytan, and I’m thrilled to share a little bit about my journey with you. I grew up on a dairy farm in Southeast Nebraska, surrounded by wide open spaces, hard work, and the kind of peace only a rural setting can offer. As a little girl, I had two big dreams: to raise horses and to write books. Those dreams stayed with me through the years, guiding me toward the life I’ve built today.

While the path to making those dreams a reality wasn’t always straight, it was filled with learning, growing, and never giving up on what I loved. And in December 2024, I finally took the leap and self-published Lazy Luna—my debut book, and the first of many to come.

Writing has always been my passion, but it’s more than just putting words on a page. It’s about telling stories that inspire, transport, and connect us to the world around us. 

When I’m not writing, you can usually find me surrounded by animals, daydreaming of my next adventure, or planning the next chapter in my creative journey. I’m excited to continue sharing my stories with you, and I hope they bring as much joy to you as they bring to me.
